We are happy to announce that we will make an appearance in Gotland at Romateatern this summer.
SEST will participate in their Shakespeare symposium, performing a 40 minute piece entitled ‘Shakespeare’s Women’.

We are very excited to work with the talented Helena Lewin once again and thrilled for the opportunity to take SEST across the water to new summer pastures!

The symposium will take place from the 26th until the 28th of July and we will perform our piece on the last day.

So for those of you in Gotland, please join us there!

SEST, The Stockholm English Speaking Theatre presents:
Angry Shrews and Merry Wives – a journey with Shakespeare’s women

Join three female players as they take you through a powerful exploration of Shakespeare’s work, where women become courageous truth-tellers, locked in power struggles and pushed to the brink of reason – the female condition in Elizabethan times.

THANK YOU!

To our warm and supportive audience for coming to see our tour of Much Ado About Nothing. We had a fabulous run and were not rained upon one single time, which is a small miracle considering that we’re in Sweden!

At the moment we’re researching coming productions so watch this space for more news and updates.

Hope to see you all soon and until then, enjoy the sunny autumn!
