And a big THANK YOU to our fabulous audience that came to see Macbeth in Gamla Stan!

We had a great run, 5 out of 8 performances were sold out and we are hoping to be able to do Macbeth again in the new year. So watch this space!

We have also begun to offer coaching and we will continue visiting schools for workshops and performances.

Something wicked this way comes, and it has found its home underground in Gamla Stan. Macbeth will be performed at Musikvalvet, a former wine cellar built long before William Shakespeare was even born. The dynamic tale of ambition, violent death and the supernatural will be portrayed by three actors in a unique version with the script cut down to the central story. Macbeth, the warrior is told by the witches that he will be king, and from that moment, pushed on by his ambitious wife, his life is doomed.

The play is directed by Elisabeth Dahl from The Norwegian Shakespeare Company. In the roles are SEST’s Kristina Leon as Lady Macbeth, Richard Asker as Banquo and Macduff, and Keith Foster, television presenter at UR and SVT, playing Macbeth.
