Helena Lewin trained to be an actor in Dublin at the Bull Alley Performance Course, Liberites College. She lived in Dublin and London for 14 years and returned to Sweden in 2009. Among her many theatre credits in Dublin and London include the title role in Miss Julie and Lysistrata as well as Dottie in Killer Joe by Tracy Letts, Estelle in No Exit by Sartre and Tora Teje in The Image Makers by P.O Enquist. Her film credits include the Irish features W.C and Alma. Along side her stage and film work she has done numerous voice overs and corporate role plays, both in Ireland/Britian and Sweden and ventured out into directing with the play Laundry and Bourbon by James McLure. Since her return to Sweden she has played Mrs Martin in The Bald Primadonna by Ionesco and The Doctor in Woyzeck by Buchner. She has also performed in the corporate film English Town for Team Tony and the short film Beslutet by Klara Strömdahl. In the autumn 2011 she will appear in Ont Blod, part of the new Arne Dahl thriller series on SVT.
